Choose a frame system before comparing output power
IEC general-purpose replacement
The official IEC page presents IE2, IE3 and IE4 three-phase induction variants and says some IE3 designs preserve shaft-centre height when replacing IE2. That does not prove every foot hole, flange, shaft, terminal box or fan cover is a drop-in match. A pump or fan replacement needs a dimensioned drawing and rated-point efficiency for the exact frame and pole count.
Confirm before ordering Provide the installed motor plate and outline, coupling or belt load, supply, duty and ambient. Request the offered model's IEC mounting drawing, efficiency test basis, temperature rise and allowable starting method.

NEMA procurement for a North American installation
The separate official NEMA listing describes a cast-iron general-purpose range and a 60 Hz design with 50 Hz information. Its page mentions NEMA Premium and UL/CSA at family level; do not assume that every frame, voltage, enclosure or inverter configuration carries the same mark. Check frame, shaft, F1/F2 conduit orientation, service factor, supply and local nameplate requirements on the actual ordered unit.
Confirm before ordering State destination jurisdiction and voltage/frequency, required NEMA frame and enclosure, coupling, starting current limit and VFD use. Obtain the exact model drawing, nameplate and current listing/certificate scope before treating a website badge as approval.
Air-compressor duty is a different load case
The maker markets a separate air-compressor motor family around impact resistance, starting torque and service-factor needs. A compressor may see loaded starts, frequent unload/reload cycles and high ambient temperature. Neither an IEC nor NEMA general-purpose rating alone confirms it can start that compressor through the available supply.
Confirm before ordering Send compressor displacement and pressure, start/unload sequence, inertia, starts per hour, starter/VFD and cooling-air conditions. Require a motor acceleration and thermal check using the exact compressor torque curve and proposed motor data.
