VEM lists a high-voltage asynchronous motor range for compressed-air and industrial-gas compressor duties, with a project envelope of 500–40000 kW and 6000–13800 V. The published options include two-, four- and six-pole machines, water-to-air or air-to-air cooling arrangements, and rolling or sleeve bearings. The catalogue photograph is a documented 20 MW asynchronous compressor-motor example, not a statement that every motor shares that rating or construction. Compressor projects require coordination between starting torque, system inertia, grid constraints and the compressor operating map. Provide those inputs together with the cooling utilities, installation dimensions and drive method.
