01 / START WITH THE BORE
A 4-inch well and a 6-inch well are different buying briefs
The company's series pages set minimum well diameters. These figures identify a starting family; the pump outside diameter, cable, flow clearance and installation tolerances still need a drawing-level check.
4YS: 4-inch oil-filled route
The 4YS product page specifies a well of at least 4 inches, an oil-filled rewindable motor and both single-phase 220–240 V and three-phase 380–415 V, 50 Hz options. A compact bore does not establish the shaft load or pump fit of a particular motor.
Confirm before ordering Provide the measured bore, pump end, cable clearance and required phase; request the exact motor and pump-end drawing.

5YS: intermediate bore
5YS is the company's oil-filled 5-inch family for a well of at least 5 inches. The official page lists both single- and three-phase 50 Hz supply options and an IP68 enclosure statement for the series.
Confirm before ordering Confirm the actual casing inner diameter, duty point and material/seal version before treating it as a 4YS substitute.

6YS and 6YC: two oil-filled 6-inch families
Both are published for wells of at least 6 inches, but they are separate catalogue families. 6YC lists direct and star-delta starting arrangements; its material list and seal description should be checked against the precise offered build.
Confirm before ordering Ask why the supplier selects 6YS or 6YC for your pump, and obtain the nameplate, start method and cable schedule.

6HC: 6-inch water-filled alternative
6HC is the water-filled family. Its published page specifies three-phase 380–415 V, 50 Hz, a 6-inch minimum well, IP68 and a maximum fluid temperature of 35°C. It is not simply an oil-filled series with a new label.
Confirm before ordering Verify the fill system, installation and maintenance instructions, thrust loading and water conditions for the quoted configuration.
