Shanbo’s AC catalogue covers several machine functions. Use this page to separate YZZ spindle drives, YLER turret torque motors and YJZ vibration sources, then compare the exact operating point and installation. Their kW, stall-torque and exciting-force ratings describe different jobs; they are not one interchangeable motor range.
The YZZ page describes a machine-tool spindle motor with independent forced ventilation, thermal protection and a compatible servo drive or inverter. The standard family entry is three-phase 380 V, four-pole, IP54, B5 mounting, with an optional encoder.
The YZZ3.7-4 row at 50 Hz lists 3.7 kW, 24 N·m, 7.8 A and 1430 r/min. A separate speed-extension diagram uses 1500 r/min as a reference. Keep the rated loaded speed and the diagram reference distinct when comparing an existing spindle.
For YZZ3.7-4, the power-speed table gives n1 = 1500, n2 = 6000 and n3 = 8000 r/min, with P1 = 3.7 kW and P2 = 2.2 kW. These are labelled points on the manufacturer’s operating diagram, not permission to demand 3.7 kW at every speed. Send the required cutting torque and speed points so the offered curve can be checked.
State the existing drive, feedback requirement and low-speed running time. The motor’s independent fan must be accommodated in the machine wiring and cooling arrangement. A matching 3.7 kW nameplate alone does not establish feedback compatibility or suitability for the required speed cycle.
These are two rows from the turret torque-motor table. The page specifies intermittent S5 duty, 380 V / 50 Hz motor supply and a DC 24 V brake. Stall values must not be relabelled as continuous spindle output.
| Catalogue item | YLER-5-6 | YLER-9.4-6 |
|---|---|---|
| Rated stall torque | 5 N·m | 9.4 N·m |
| Stall current | 3 A | 4.5 A |
| Listed speed | 740 r/min | 890 r/min |
| Brake torque | 3 N·m | 3 N·m |
| Brake current | 0.65 A | 0.65 A |
The two YLER rows have different stall torque and current, but the same listed 3 N·m brake. Select the motor and brake functions separately.
Give the indexing movement, time at stall, braking interval, rest time and cycles per hour. The source identifies S5 but does not give a universal duty percentage for every machine. Ask for approval of that actual cycle rather than treating the catalogue stall torque as a continuous hold rating.
Include the available DC brake supply, release/engagement sequence and required holding load. The 3 N·m brake value is not the same quantity as the 5 or 9.4 N·m motor stall torque. The supplier’s wiring and brake data must match the offered suffix and turret controller.
The four-pole table is headed 380 V, 50 Hz and 1500 r/min synchronous speed. The following two 10 kN variants have different power, current and B spacing. Dimensions refer to the manufacturer’s drawing letters; they are not a substitute for that drawing.
| Selection item | YJZ10-4A | YJZ10-4C |
|---|---|---|
| Maximum exciting force | 10 kN | 10 kN |
| Rated power / current | 0.55 kW / 1.4 A | 0.4 kW / 1.1 A |
| A mounting spacing | 220 ± 0.25 mm | 220 ± 0.25 mm |
| B mounting spacing | 140 ± 0.25 mm | 115 ± 0.25 mm |
| Fasteners | 4 × M20 | 4 × M20 |
| Overall L / listed mass | 450 mm / 62 kg | 415 mm / 62 kg |
YJZ is described for feeding, screening, conveying and other vibration duties. Its stated conditions include S1, IP55, altitude up to 1000 m and ambient temperature up to 40°C. The enclosed construction is described for dusty environments without an explosion-proof requirement.
Identify the full A or C suffix and measure the mounting pattern. The two rows above share force, A spacing and bolt size, yet differ in B spacing and overall length. Send the old nameplate and support drawing before accepting a replacement.
Provide the moving assembly mass, intended vibration mode, number of motors and operating frequency. A maximum exciting-force row does not by itself establish the resulting motion of your machine. Ask for the force setting and mounting arrangement for that assembly.
Do not interpret IP55 or the enclosed housing as explosion protection. State the actual area classification and required approval before selecting a motor for that location; the cited YJZ description does not establish that approval.
CATALOGUE OVERVIEW
Shanbo's AC catalogue brings together several different motor designs rather than one continuous model range. The visible entries include AC servo motors, YZZ spindle motors, YJZ vibration motors, YLER/YLJ torque motors, YEJ brake motors, YVF variable-frequency motors and high-voltage induction families.
Choose the operating function before requesting ratings: a spindle, vibration source, holding brake and general rotating drive require different selection criteria. Send the application, load profile, supply, speed range and installation drawing, and ask Shanbo to identify the appropriate series and exact model. A single power or voltage range would be misleading for this combined catalogue entry.
Specifications describe a series range; confirm which ratings apply together to the quoted model.
Confirm mounting and shaft dimensions against the drawing for the quoted configuration.
