EC or ECI: choose the motor-and-drive arrangement before comparing power

TECHTOP separates its EC permanent-magnet synchronous motor from ECI with an integrated drive. ECI also has different published power ceilings for single-phase and three-phase versions. This distinction is useful when replacing a cabinet-mounted drive or building a machine for a site with only single-phase power.

ECI supply options are separate configurations

The official product brochure lists these family-level limits. It does not assign a specific output to each frame or supply voltage, so a limit is not a complete order code.

Resolve three integration questions before releasing the order

Is the drive part of the purchased motor assembly?

The ECI product is explicitly identified as having an integrated drive. For an EC quotation, state whether a matched external drive is required or an existing drive will be reused. Request the supported motor parameters and commissioning method; the EC name alone does not establish compatibility with an arbitrary inverter.

Does the rating cover the required operating point?

The brochure gives EC a family maximum of 21.98 kW, but supplies no model-by-model torque, speed or current table. Do not transfer that maximum to ECI, whose stated ceilings are much lower. Submit continuous and peak shaft torque, operating speeds and time at each point so the quotation identifies a specific motor and drive combination.

How will the machine command and accommodate it?

For ECI, obtain the control-interface drawing, start/stop and speed-reference definition, fault outputs, supply-current data, enclosure dimensions and cooling clearances. The reviewed material does not identify a communication protocol, analogue input or safety function. An integrated drive can change installation and service access, but does not by itself establish those capabilities.
